Why should people trade binary options as opposed to Forex?

Are binary options trading closer to Forex or to gaming?

Binary options are a market based investment opportunity.  That means they are tied to how the market performs whereas gaming is based on luck.  Binary options are market reactive investments and are not based on luck.  This is the main difference between any form of investing and gaming.  Gaming by definition is based on luck whereas investing success is based on market factors and shred investing.

What do you personally trade?

As one of the principles of the company, I must refrain from trading to avoid an apparent conflict of interest.  But I do monitor the EUR/JPY pretty closely.  One of the great features that our platform offers is the 60 second options.  These options allow you to invest on your favorite assets and profit within a minute.  It really is one of the great new additions that we’ve brought to our platform over the last few weeks.

 

Does 24option have any exciting plans in the near future?

We are really excited for regulation process which we have begun with the Cyprus which will make us the first binary options platform regulated in the EU.  This will provide our traders that extra level of security that other platforms do not have.  We are very excited about this.  We have just raised our limits so now traders can invest up to $20,000 on every trade.  No other broker provides this level of commitment to its traders.

In addition to this, we already have the most advanced video center that gives our traders a number of lessons about binary options trading as well as general trading strategies that can really improve overall trading success.  But always keep checking the site; we are constantly adding new assets every week.

 

What do you see happening in the future of binary options trading?

It needs to become a regulated industry and I’m proud that we are leading that charge.  Binary options are fiscal tool and I believe in transparency and look forward to being regulated.  Those platforms that do not join the regulation game will, I believe, fall by the wayside.  Would you let a non-certified mechanic work on your car?  Then why do the same with your investments?

On other fronts in the binary options world, I think the current one-upmanship on higher returns is only going to go so far until traders really turn to focus on the platforms that are stable and intuitive, rather than the quick money.  This in turn will allow the best platforms to rise to the top and coupled with regulation will create a binary options industry that is transparent and extremely lucrative.  And we at 24option are excited to lead the industry in this direction.
